Invisalign Lite works the same way as Invisalign Complete and provides the same benefits but has a shorter treatment time and is designed for less complex cases.
Invisalign Lite is ideal for patients who have mild to slightly moderate orthodontic issues, such as overcrowding, small gaps, and overall alignment issues. It may also be recommended for patients who previously had orthodontic treatment as a child and had some tooth movement from lack of retainer wear.
Invisalign Lite requires between 6 and 12 months of treatment time. Any patient who needs longer treatment or has a more complex case would qualify for Invisalign Complete.
Invisalign aligners straighten your teeth by applying gradual pressure on specific teeth at different times during your treatment. Individually manufactured for your teeth by Invisalign, they are worn in one to two-week increments depending on the severity of the situation. As you replace each aligner with the next set, your teeth will move gradually until full correction is achieved. We usually give patients enough aligners to last two to four months, minimizing time missed from work or other activities for appointments.
